We found the quiet street suited us well while my wife and I were traveling around Vietnam. The rooms were clean, and the service was pleasant. For the price, the value was just right, and we had nothing to complain about. Thanks.

The loungers were being used to dry all the hotel laundry, and the pool was only half full, with dirty water and rubbish in it.

The biggest problem was the rooftop pool, which looked broken and disgusting, along with the dining area and what seemed like a fake buffet breakfast. If I’d known those were in that condition, I never would have booked. The pictures gave me a very different impression, and I felt completely deceived. This place felt like a dump, and I’d warn people to be careful before booking. I wouldn’t stay here again. Shame on the owner. Total scam. I only ended up here because my booking at Nami Hotel was cancelled when I tried to check in at 5pm. I got a refund, but then had to find somewhere else on my own on a Friday, with a holiday on Saturday. Without doing much more research, I saw this hotel had availability and glanced at photos showing a pool, a dining area with breakfast buffet, and a nice room. Check-in was fine, but the room didn’t look like the photos. The beds had been pushed together and the mattress was old, dirty, and rusty. The air conditioning sounded broken, though I managed to quiet it enough for my stay. The fridge outlet didn’t work, so I moved the fridge to another outlet and got it running. I wish I’d taken time to read the reviews before booking this dirty, broken place.

His wife was the reason I gave the staff three stars. She was lovely and seemed to care about guests. The shower had good hot water, the view through the big window was nice, and guests can use the kitchen. The manager, a boy, spent the day on his phone or lying on the sofa. When I had a concern, he wouldn’t try to communicate in English and just spoke Vietnamese at me, even while I held up my translator. During my five days there, he never smiled when I came or went, though I smiled and said hi. I had to ask him for the water that should have been in the room, toilet paper, and tea cups. Get the toilet paper before going upstairs. For the cups, he gave me a beer glass instead. The room had only a kettle, one towel, and one set of bathroom items. Room 503 had very noisy air conditioning, so ask for another room if you’re put there. The cupboards were filthy and made my bags dirty, the sheets were stained, and the windows were dirty despite the nice view. There’s no restaurant upstairs, and most tables and chairs were stacked away, so it wasn’t an appealing place to sit. I booked this place for the pool, but the whole rooftop area was awful. It looked as if renovation had started and been abandoned. I asked whether the pool would be cleaned. The manager, though I didn’t know that was who he was then, said he’d ask the manager. His wife gave me the same answer later. The next day she said the manager told her they wouldn’t clean it because it was rainy season. That didn’t make sense to me: it was March, and rainy season is December. It rained once while I was in Nha Trang for a week. The place has potential, but the manager seemed to have no interest in it. I’d paid for five nights before arriving, so I couldn’t afford to move. Without his wife, I would have made a big issue of getting my money back and leaving. The pictures here don’t show reality at all.

The bed was really hard, and the room smelled of nicotine even though smoking isn’t allowed. Cleaning was poor. Kids made noise past midnight, and dogs were barking too.
