Melia Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire Hotel

We booked two nights so we could visit the Vinpearl attraction across the lake. There are some small benefits at the attraction if you have “Vin” things, like owning a Vinfast car or booking a Vin hotel. The rooms were really nice, the view decent, and they included a couple of good complimentary items. Service was quick and accommodating. Check-in was busy around 10-11am, so there was a bit of a wait, but I didn’t feel rushed. Breakfast is a buffet with different cuisines, so there’s something for everyone. The wifi could be slow or unusable at times, but it didn’t really spoil things. Public facilities are a decent size, including a pool overlooking the city of Nha Trang, a fitness centre, and spa treatments. They should have a kids club so parents can leave the little ones.

The team handled everything with care when we reached out. They sorted out our concerns quickly and professionally, and did what they could to make us comfortable. We’re grateful for the thoughtful, kind service from the management and staff. It made the stay feel easy and enjoyable. We’d recommend the hotel.

Breakfast got a bit chaotic, but it was fine, and the staff were nice. We had a good view, a clean room, a comfortable bed and sheets, and a nice shower. The room felt a little worn when we first got there, though we came to like it. Good value. One worrying moment: we got stuck in the emergency stairwell because there were no handles to get back into the corridor. A door a few floors down was slightly ajar and hadn't shut properly, so luckily we managed to squeeze through. Hopefully that's normal and safe?!

Ms. Nguyen, the food and beverage manager, made our stay feel especially welcoming. She chatted with us each morning and asked if we needed anything. Some of our group are allergic to milk, so when we asked about soy milk, she arranged special oatmeal with the chef and made soy milk available for drinking or cereal. She also asked about our plans and how we could be helped. Knowing we had a long train ride ahead, she gave us fresh fruit and takeaway boxes so we could pack snacks from the breakfast buffet. We stayed for 3 nights. The check-in staff member welcomed us warmly, and our room was comfortable, with a small kitchen area and sink. The buffet had loads of choices, including pancakes, crepes, waffles and made-to-order omelets, along with pastries, meats, sushi, salads and noodles. Our room looked out over the beach and sea, and the location was great. There’s a clinic, kids’ playroom, sparkling pool, spa, free sauna and fitness center. Most staff were helpful and seemed keen to give good service. We’d definitely stay again.
