Oyo 644 Stella House & Apartment

The rooms are decent and the hotel feels new and fresh. There are two rooms and a kitchen, and the sea is a five-minute walk away. There are lots of places to eat nearby; we mostly went to the "Moscow" restaurant. The internet was very slow. Reading articles and sending messages worked, but video watching and work weren’t reliable. There was also a three-hour power outage across the whole block at night, though I don’t think that was really the hotel’s fault. The air conditioner barely blew air when we checked in, and what it did blow was warm. I spent an hour trying to convince myself that wasn’t normal, then we waited an hour for a repairman and another hour while he worked. We missed going to the beach, and in the end they didn’t fix it, saying everything was fine. A day later it was finally repaired, but it now makes a loud noise that keeps me from sleeping. At least the room isn’t so hot. :) We’d asked before booking whether there was construction nearby and were told there wasn’t. If you’re out before 7 and only return in the evening, you won’t really encounter it. But spending the day in the room means hearing a drill. On the bright side, the drill covers up the air conditioner noise. :)

I liked the quiet setting, the spacious living room, and being close to the sea. The apartment has a bedroom, a computer table and chair, another table with two wicker chairs, a sofa, closet, washing machine, fridge, air conditioning, stove, and dishes. Everything worked and was clean except the sofa. The doors were hard to close, and you could leave your luggage there until the evening after checking out. There was no oil, pepper, or salt provided, the TV was off, and breakfast wasn’t offered. I didn’t need those things and didn’t ask, but they were included.

It’s quiet here and just five minutes from the sea, with restaurants and shops nearby. The small studio has two connecting rooms, a bedroom, sofa, two wicker chairs, table, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, washing machine, TV, wardrobe, and bathroom with a water heater. The air conditioner is in the kitchen and works well, and there’s a fan above the bed. The bed linen and towels were clean, but the apartment itself was a bit dirty, especially the sofa, which was so dirty I didn’t want to sit on it. The old bathroom door sags a little and barely shuts. The advertised breakfast, butter, pepper, and salt were missing. There were no cloths for wiping the table, dishwashing liquid, or laundry detergent.

The staff were very polite and helpful, and they cleaned the room every day. The apartment had everything I needed: a stove, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, glasses, fridge, air conditioning, fan, and washing machine. Excellent apartment.
