Senia Hotel

The hotel is nice and very close to the beach, but it needs to do a better job with cleaning. There was lots of dust on the nightstand, table and floor, and I found a spiderweb by the refrigerator. Housekeeping should spend longer on the rooms, and the hallway and elevator need attention too.

At 2am I needed help because of an emergency, but all I got was “its midnight!” I tried to explain what was going on and he just repeated it, then kept staring at his phone. They couldn’t find toilet paper at that hour, or didn’t have any stocked? It may sound funny, but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t wish poisoning on anyone, especially when they couldn’t handle even this small problem at night.

For the money, it’s good value, and you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean, they’re cleaned every day, and you get 2 small bottles of water daily. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s close to the city centre, with the beach just across the street. The hotel isn’t new, and it shows. Some wallpaper is coming loose, and the rooms look better in the photos. Everything is small, including the pool, which is really just for cooling off. The gym has only 4 machines, making it the smallest I’ve ever seen. We also had a small lizard in our room. In Asia, you may have to expect small animals in hotel rooms or apartments.

The rooftop pool has a spectacular view across the whole bay, and the hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The room and bed were very clean, and the facilities feel modern. Breakfast was nice, and the price was super economical. Great stay, I’ll definitely come back!
