M Beachfront

Don’t choose a front room, even if it’s a spacious premium one with a sea view. The view was okay, the beds were good, and the linen was perfect, but the noise was unbearable. Buses honked extremely loudly, and the SAILING CLUB right across from the hotel on the beach, which the hotel owns, played music and karaoke late into the evening. Our big window was broken and wouldn’t close, so it stayed open the whole time. The windows weren’t as soundproof as claimed. The smaller rooms at the back are surely quieter.

My stay was short, but I’d definitely choose Star City Hotel again on my next visit. It was clean and comfortable, and made the trip more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Wonderful stay, highly recommended!

The location is great, right across the street from the beach, and the ocean-view rooms have lovely sunrises. It’s about a five-minute walk to the busier beach area near AB shopping centre. The shower head needed a little cleaning, but otherwise the room was well maintained, and whenever an issue came up, staff responded very quickly. Breakfast had a decent mix of Asian and Western food. It wasn’t the fanciest buffet in Viet, but it was yummy. Vinpearl beach front hotel is right next door, with a small shopping centre, supermarket, and Lotte movie theatre.

The beach is right nearby, and the location was great. We also got lovely service and a breakfast with lots to choose from. Yen was especially kind when I cut my leg. She quickly brought me a bandage and the ointment they had, and also gave me a Vietnamese ointment that worked well. She had such a warm smile and a happy, helpful way about her. Her recommendation for things to do in nha trang made my stay even better.
