Our long-planned family holiday fell apart on arrival. We’d booked online several months earlier, but after coming from the airport with my large family, we found the hotel closed. We rang the listed number for an hour without anyone answering. When staff eventually came back from lunch, they used Google Translate to tell us there were no rooms and that we’d have to sort it out with Agoda ourselves. The lobby was in disarray and seemed to be part of a residential building with thousands of Russian residents. It’s next to a busy road, and the noise pollution is unbearable. With a festival in town, prices were extremely high, so I had to book somewhere else at four times the original cost. This ruined our holiday. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We lost our money and had to find another hotel. This place is a rip-off. We arrived to check in at 10pm and nobody greeted us. No one answered when we called the phone number. The hotline confirmed they had the booking but ignored the check-in, and repeated calls got no reply.

We arrived with the rooms already paid for, but they wouldn’t check us in and asked us to cancel the reservation, saying everyone had returned. In the end, we got neither a room nor our money.

The staff were very bad, and the rooms were smelly, dirty, and noisy. The cleaning staff used old mops and came into the room without knocking.

The food was okay, but the service and staff weren’t. The waiters weren’t friendly or thoughtful, so we had to serve ourselves. When they brought the food, they didn’t bring knives or forks. They only brought them after we asked.
