The room was in awful shape and clearly hadn't been maintained or cleaned. The bed smelled bad, and there was a strong cigarette odor, possibly from higher floors. Broken furniture, dust, and hairs I couldn't identify were everywhere. The curtains were torn and coming down, the windows were dusty, the ceiling had mold, and the whole room felt old and unused. The floors were dirty enough that my feet got dirty quickly. The shower hose was old and leaking, while the bathroom fan was extremely loud and sounded faulty. The pillows were yellow and worn, and there was serious mold on the air conditioner. The rooms are completely different now from how they were in the past.

The elevators worked well and the waits were short, and the price was reasonable. Still, the room was a little dirty, with mold on the washroom ceiling, and the TV was small. The two-prong electrical outlets felt unsafe and wouldn't work for most international plugs. This deserves to be a three-star hotel. The girl named Hoa at reception was very unaccommodating, while the boys were really nice and helpful.

The room was filthy and in terrible condition, with other people's hair everywhere and old, broken furniture. Then, at 8 a.m., work started in the room next door. It was so loud my husband and I had to shout to hear each other. We'd only slept a couple of hours and wanted to rest instead of being woken so early. At reception, they said they didn't care and couldn't do anything.

The receptionists were friendly, and the location works if you want to be in the centre. The alley is quiet, except for the same dog and rooster starting up every morning between 5 and 7. 🐓 I knew booking a non-refundable stay had been a mistake, but they take your passport, so be careful. Mold seems to be eating the hotel away, and the smell starts in the corridor and continues into the room. There was also a constant, unbearable sewage odor. The pillows smelled of other people's sweat, so I couldn't sleep on them. The main reason I'm leaving this negative review is one housekeeper, the big one, who was rude and raised her voice when I politely asked for a second towel, though I had booked for two people. As a Chinese teacher, I know that kind of behavior is a sign of disrespect in Asia. Apparently I earned it just by smiling and asking for another towel. It made the place feel unsafe, since she could come into your room later. Happy New Year 🎄

The musty smell in the room was bad enough, and then staff started drilling into the walls at 8 in the morning. When I complained, the receptionist said, "In Vietnam, the workday starts at 8 AM, so they start all their noisy work from 8 AM." They clearly don't care about customers' comfort. I absolutely couldn't stay here and wouldn't recommend it.
