Tristar Hotel

The front of house staff were very friendly and courteous, the price was cheap, and they let us check in early. Most of the rest was disappointing. Our standard room was tiny, cleaning wasn't done daily and was poor when it happened, and the shower screen had been smashed by a previous guest and removed badly instead of replaced. The TV reception was terrible, especially with 50+ TVs in the rooms and such cheap antenna and wiring. Breakfast was plain and uninteresting, with only one drink allowed, so no coffee and juice together. When I asked about renting a moped in the afternoon, I was quoted a price based on returning it at 1930 that same evening. Taking the key card out of the room also switched off all the electrical outlets, so anything in the fridge warmed up while we were out.

The rooms felt new, and they were clean and tidy. My girlfriend and I stayed a few nights, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach. Breakfast wasn't much, but the room was cheap.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was nice. They also provide free water, tea, and coffee. The hotel was nice enough, with modern rooms that were quite small. At 9am, while we were still in bed, the cleaning ladies knocked and asked if we wanted the room cleaned, which felt strange.

We loved the staff and had a good breakfast, including omelettes. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nice. For the first two nights we booked the larger deluxe room, then added a third night in the smaller one. It was small but still nice, and the windows weren't the same. During a storm the windows in the first room leaked like crazy. We didn't mind, since the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall view was worth it, and none of our things got wet. I really liked this hotel, though that leak kept me from giving it five stars.
