Ninh Chu 2 Hotel

I liked the garden setting, and the clean room was a nice place to have some private time. The shore is a five-minute walk away, and the hotel sits in the middle of a fantastic motorbike tour route. Cheap, too. Everything was good, except breakfast isn't included.

It’s an inexpensive, very basic place. Rooms are clean, with toiletries and drinking water supplied each day, plus a kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom was fine and had plenty of hot water, though the beds were on the firm side. We booked what was listed as a room with a balcony, but that was misleading. There aren't balconies, just walkways leading to the rooms. Outside, there isn't much of a garden or any shady place to sit. The hotel is set back from the road and about 500 m from the beach. Beyond the beach, there isn’t much to see or do around here, and the options for restaurants and shops are limited. There are no bars.

The hotel was clean and affordable, and had what I needed, including a bed and access to the beach. It isn't in the middle of the action, which helps explain the price, and the window views aren't anything special. There’s an excellent pizza place close by, which was a plus for me.

They have bikes for rent at reception for 150k a day. The hotel is new, with clean rooms and good service, though my room felt pretty humid.
