Blue Ocean Resort

I left feeling refreshed and deeply impressed, and this will stay my first choice for future visits. The setting is beautiful, the spaces are thoughtfully designed, and the calm atmosphere made it easy to relax. The staff did so much to make us feel at home, and the location is just right. The rooms were refined and the food was exquisite. A memorable, luxurious stay, and highly recommended if you're looking for excellence.

This was an extremely disappointing service experience. We cancelled our Booking.com reservation because we couldn't stay at the hotel with our baby, then asked for a refund. Booking.com told us directly that they could process it without an issue if the hotel approved it. The hotel said the lack of a refund was Booking.com's responsibility, which conflicts with what Booking.com told us. The decision is clearly the hotel's. Even though our situation was exceptional and the hotel was fully booked, they offered no goodwill or exception. We strongly ask the hotel to reconsider and approve a free cancellation with a full refund.

A quiet, clean beach, with an outdoor shower where you can rinse off while looking at the palm trees. It brought to mind the time of Marguerite Duras. A private beach that still feels truly Vietnamese, the way Vietnam used to feel. The sand is lovely, and the grounds are calm and neatly landscaped. The southern staff are friendly. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well and was cold, there were no mosquitoes, and there weren't noisy guests like at some big hotels. Best quiet sandy beach, without overdevelopment.

The beds were the one thing that really affected my stay. I have a bad back and could feel the springs, so I woke up with a very sore back every morning. I never asked whether a mattress pad was available, and maybe one could have helped. I'd check about that next time. I also wish the shower had a handheld nozzle. Even with the poor sleep, I'd still come back because everything else was amazing. The value is incredible, and the resort itself, location, and staff were awesome. The rooms were spacious and very nice. I appreciated the good water pressure, bidet/bum gun, and enough drawers and hangars for clothes. The pool is beautiful and the chairs are comfortable. Breakfast had a smaller selection than some places, but the food tasted great. I didn't spend much time at the beach, but it was a very nice private one. We had an amazing stay and will be back.
