Hon Rom 2 Resort

The infinity pool was a highlight, and the grounds were clean and well looked after. We stayed two nights and had a fantastic time, well worth it. Service was faultless during our visit, with friendly welcomes and helpful staff whenever we asked for something. I'm vegetarian, and the catering team was happy to make me something on request. I've stayed at similar resorts around Vietnam, and this one doesn't inflate the prices of food or tours. It felt worth every penny.

The buffet and staff were good, and the pool was lovely, especially for photos at sunset. My room was beautiful, right beside the beach, with a gorgeous sunset view. One warning, though: the hallway door has a black background and caught my hand when I opened it. It really hurt, so be careful. And sadly, my trip didn't have any more beautiful girls :( :( so disappointing.

We were due to check out in two days, but decided to cut our losses and leave the next day. This is a dump, nowhere near a resort. The AC barely worked, water pressure was almost nonexistent, and there was no hot water. The bathroom smelled like a garbage dump, and the patio doors wouldn't work. There was no phone in the room and no amenities like coffee or soap. Worst resort I've ever stayed in.

The beach is a one minute walk away, with tropical views, cozy rooms and homestay, and an affordable price that includes breakfast and loungers by the sea. There's a bar and restaurant serving traditional food, and you can order fresh seafood on the beach. Service was good, and the beaches are beautiful, so I'd give it 4/5. The main downsides are no pool and not much else to do, especially at night.
