The accommodation was clean and nice, and the people were good. I rented a motorbike too, and it was in really good shape.

All night the wind kept blowing the door open. There wasn't a hairdryer or an electric kettle either.

I might still recommend an upstairs room, where you can get a balcony sea view for 300,000 RMB. My first-floor room, though, left me feeling taken advantage of, and I don't use that phrase lightly. I usually fall asleep before midnight, but I spent this whole night tossing and turning until 7 AM. The room was extremely damp, with no exhaust fan. I couldn't open the window without letting mosquitoes in. The sheets and pillows had an odd, slippery feel. They weren't dirty, but the material made it hard for me to sleep. By morning I was exhausted with a sore back and couldn't do anything the next day. I don't want to overreact, and I think a higher-floor room would be much better, at least less damp.
