I liked the greenery and the view, but I can’t recommend this place. More than half the facilities were broken, out of use, or abandoned, and there seemed to be no one maintaining the pool. It was sandy, had bugs underneath, and was slippery in spots, so be careful. The hotel is very old, and the room was basic, with a mattress that felt about 100 years old. I could feel the springs poking my skin, and we didn’t sleep well. The receptionist looked like she didn’t enjoy her job. Hospitality in Mui ne generally felt pretty poor to me.

It was clean and quiet here, and we enjoyed our holiday. The location is convenient, right by the beach, and it’s easy to get to other places. Service was good too. The room was a little old, but clean and acceptable.

I came mostly for the pool and sea view, and both were what I wanted. It’s a simple resort that does the job, very quiet and laid-back, with hardly anyone around and not much service. You can bring wine or beer, sit looking at the sea, and listen to the waves without anyone bothering you. Peaceful.

A good way to get to Saigon by bus, with fares from 99k. You can grab food or a soda while waiting, and the cars are clean with good drivers. The staff speak English, and the restaurant has fast WiFi. Halfway through, the bus stops at a huge place with delicious banh bao, pancakes, and tasty things made with natural milk. They also sell hot and cold coffee. They take the new highway, so the trip is fast and comfortable, and they don’t stop in the middle of the route like the big buses.
