Non Nuoc Resort

We came back after four years and found it just as suited to a couple of days of rest. It’s peaceful, close to the ocean, and the staff are friendly. They also offer fresh juice and fruit during the day. The beach isn’t very good, though the pool is there instead. For decent places to eat, you’ll need to rent a bike, since there’s almost nowhere nearby.

The grounds are lovely, spacious, very clean, and full of palms, and the hotel is right on the beachfront. The beach was clean and good, and I really liked the pool. Our large, comfortable room was cleaned daily. There are shops and restaurants nearby, too. The hostess is always happy to help and speaks English. I’d recommend it to everyone.

I stayed in a small bungalow near the beach, and it was very comfortable. It had a fridge, hair dryer, TV, shower, and a tub, plus a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and brought right to the bungalow, then left outside the door with a knock. I’d definitely stay there again.

If you want a quiet week to recharge, No Núöc resort suits that well. It’s a calm place, but not one for nightlife or crowded tourist spots. Renting a motorbike lets you get around, and the owner can point you to a rental shop about a five minute walk away. It costs 150.000 VND per day. The resort is around 10 kilometers from the city of PhúThúi, so shops, banks, restaurants, and other places aren’t close. Mui Ne takes about 45 minutes to reach by bike to the north, while the lighthouse is 20 kilometers south. Take your time on the ride and stop for food, drinks, or places you haven’t seen before. The property is old, but it’s kept clean and in good shape. The garden is beautiful, and the pool is large and clean. There’s direct access to a wide beach, though plastic washes up there, as it does elsewhere. At low tide, people fish, and you can walk a long way over the sand exposed by the sea. I did that each time. My room was number 104, on the ground floor, with a balcony facing the pool. I’d suggest a garden facing room, since the hill view rooms are noisy from the busy road. Mine had one double bed and a single, air conditioning, a flat screen TV with lots of Viettel TV cable channels, a boiler, freezer, and telephone. The WiFi was fast and strong both inside and out. Breakfast was good, with Vietnamese food as well as eggs, omelettes, french fries, and similar options. Lunch and dinner are available too. The staff are friendly and smiley, and the owner is kind and helpful. I think No Núöc resort is a real garden by the sea, and it doesn’t cost much.
