The owner is caring and lovely, and her warm, attentive hospitality made the stay more pleasant. That personal touch helped make up for a few drawbacks, though I still wanted to share them while giving five stars. There isn't secure car parking. You can leave a car on the street, but it didn't feel reassuring, and the narrow alley into the property made getting in and out awkward. The decor is plain, and sound carries between rooms and from outside, which could be tough for light sleepers. Hot and cold water are available, which I appreciated. The motorbike rental seemed expensive for the area, and the scooter I rented was quite noisy. The rental car also felt a bit loose. Its brake and accelerator pedals didn't feel secure or responsive, which made me uncomfortable driving it. They should probably check and maintain it better for safety.

We had a great three-night stay at Sea-Breeze Homestay. Our room was comfortable and tidy, with a ventilator, AC, TV, a private balcony and a nice bathtub. There was a small outdoor kitchen for cooking too. On our last evening, Lu invited us to a party with his friend. We had a lovely dinner, beer and karaoke. It was great! I'd recommend the hostel to anyone in the area, and thanks again, Lu. Wishing you all the best!

The homestay is newly built, so everything still feels fresh and clean. The owner is friendly and provides good service. They also sell tasty Phan Thiet specialties at reasonable prices, handy gifts for friends and family without having to go far or worry about getting scammed. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance to visit Vietnam again. Highly recommended!
