Late at night, I had to urgently find another hotel after this one refused to check me in. The new place accepted my residence card and VNeID right away, without any trouble. I’m a foreign worker legally living in Vietnam, with a valid Temporary Residence Card (TRC) and registered VNeID account. These let me legally verify my identity and register my stay anywhere in Vietnam. For almost two years, I’ve checked into hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Mui Ne, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc using them without a problem. I had already paid in full through Agoda, but this hotel insisted I hand over my passport before they would let me check in. They hadn’t mentioned that requirement on Agoda or anywhere else, and staff offered no other solution. They also claimed I could be reported to the police if I didn’t give them my passport. That isn’t true, and it seemed like an attempt to keep foreign guests’ passports unlawfully, which could create serious risks if the documents were lost or mishandled. The whole thing caused stress, wasted time, and a lot of inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to foreign residents in Vietnam, especially people who legally use residence cards instead of carrying their passports every day.

The staff were very welcoming, and there were good breakfast choices, even for someone like me who is fully vegetarian. The rooms were clean and had enough space. A really good stay in mue nae.

For this price level, the hotel was good. I spent a week there in November. The beach area had only a few sun beds and mattresses, and many of the beds were broken.

The location is very good and well connected, and the buffet breakfast at "Orchid Restaurant" was good. The rooms were just average, though. My floor hadn’t been cleaned when I arrived, and I had to remind them 3-4 times to clean the room on my second day. Even after that, it wasn’t done properly. The intercoms mostly weren’t available. I’d recommend the place for its location, but service needs a lot of improvement.

The property was clean, the breakfast was okay, and the hotel itself is nice. It seems to have two buildings across from each other, one by the beach and one across the street. We were there with a tour group, and the location was great. We arrived around 9pm, and the front desk took everyone’s passports, planning to keep them overnight. We weren’t comfortable with that and asked our guide to find out why. The hotel said they’d already turned off the photocopy machine and couldn’t make copies until morning. We explained that we needed to keep our passports with us while traveling. They eventually took photos of the passports and gave them back.
