Song Que Homestay

The best surprise was the location by the river and the INCREDIBLE terrace. Having breakfast on the roof with the river and mountains in view was absolutely inspiring. The rooms are SUPER clean, maybe the cleanest I've seen in Vietnam, and the walls are thick enough that very little street noise gets through. The place is only a year old. The family is great, though Winn (the Father) doesn't speak English, so have Google Translate ready. Both his children are a big help and speak much better English.

I've spent over a year living and travelling in Vietnam, and this was easily my best overall stay there. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, while still giving us enough privacy. The rooms were new, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace had a great river view. The location was convenient, tours and bus tickets were booked for no extra cost, and they lent us bicycles to explore town for free. On departure day, our host drove us to the bus station early and had breakfast ready as early as 6:30.

The food was really good, and Kien and his family were so friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were having a good time. An amazing homestay, with incredible views and a lovely, accommodating family. The rooms were modern and very clean. We'd definitely come back. 10/10.

The lemon juice was refreshing on a cold day, and the food was seasoned well and still yummy. The tofu was a little bland, though, and I wish there had been a bigger variety of vegetables in the noodle plate. Overall, the food was fine.
