We found this lovely resort at the last minute for an affordable price: seven nights in a suite cost us less than $1000 AUD. It's near the airport, so you hear planes now and then, though not loudly. The beachfront location was ideal, with plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. Town is nearby and an easy scooter ride away. The breakfast was well stocked, and we always found a table in the alfresco area by the pool. The pool is a reasonable size, though it warms up during the day and can feel hot by afternoon. Some rude tourists put books on the sun loungers before breakfast to reserve them, then rarely use them for the day. The hotel doesn't condone that, though it's not their fault. Our room was huge with a great view. Make sure to book a sea view room, because the others face a vacant lot. Those rooms face west and get the afternoon sun. The room is so large that after a day out, the air conditioning takes a while to cool it down, but works well once it does.

What stood out most was the staff, who were warm, friendly, and helpful the whole time. We felt well looked after. The resort has a lovely private beach, and the peaceful setting made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was tasty, although mostly non-vegetarian, with limited vegetarian choices. The last day ended on a disappointing note when someone raised an issue about missing towels. We were sure about what we'd used, so the situation made us uncomfortable and left a bad final impression. All in all, a good place for the atmosphere, beach, and service. I hope management handles situations like that better in future.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety, and our spacious room was comfortable. We watched the sunset from the balcony at this relaxing hotel right on the beach. My only complaint was that some of the younger serving staff could use more training in customer service and attitude. Apart from that, I'd recommend staying here.

The breakfast buffet was the highlight. Lots of food choices, including good vegetarian options, and a nice variety of chicken dishes. Elsewhere in Vietnam I'd only found pork and beef for non-vegetarians, so this was a welcome change. But we missed breakfast on our first day because we thought it had already closed. The in-room hotel scanner said service ended at 9:30 AM. If that's wrong, please update it so guests aren't misled. The rest of the stay was just okay. The room was only so-so, and some things were broken. Even though we'd booked an ocean view suite, I wouldn't say we enjoyed the stay. The pool closing at 6:30 PM felt too early for people wanting to relax, and breakfast ending at 9:30 AM didn't suit a relaxing holiday either. It could have been a better experience.

The peaceful location was close to the main attractions, and the resort felt safe and relaxing. Our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Breakfast had a decent range and was good. The staff were especially polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. We had a wonderful stay.
