Coco Palm Beach Resort & Spa

The garden is a real gem, and the whole property, including the rooms and landscape, is exceptionally well maintained. We had a spacious triple room on the first floor with a large bathroom and a handy balcony. The clothes hanger was useful for drying things, and the laundry service returned our clothes the same day. The hotel arranged a motorbike for us as well as airport pickup and drop-off. We paid the driver the agreed price directly, and the hotel took no commission, which we appreciated. Staff and service were excellent, and we'd happily stay again. One small downside: the hotel rents beach beds to outside guests, so the beach can get crowded and noisy at times. Even so, it's an idyllic place.

If you want to spend the whole day by the sea, this is a good fit. The water is shallow enough to walk a long way out, and there's a bar by the shore. Staff were helpful, the rooms were okay, and we had separate cottages with a fridge and locker. Breakfast was fine, though there wasn't much variety. Several different restaurants are nearby. Bring some cash, since some shops don't take cards. QR payment was available, but I couldn't get it to work. Water is cheaper at the outside shops, around 35 VND for 5 liters.

The lush garden, quiet atmosphere, and beachfront setting were the best parts of our five nights at Coco Palm Beach Resort & Spa. The sunsets were lovely, our Deluxe Double Room with partial sea view was roomy and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plenty for us, with a small buffet that varied a little each day. Several good restaurants are within walking distance. The beach and upkeep need work. Guests from other hotels use the property as a shortcut, so people constantly pass ground-floor terraces and windows on their way to the beach, which takes away privacy. The beach is packed with sunbeds, many rented to outside guests, and it was crowded and dirty. Visitors, mostly from Russia, left bottles, cans, coconuts, and other rubbish behind, and it stayed there all day. The sunbed mattresses were old, stained, and not cleaned. There was visible mould in several places in our room, which needs urgent attention. The Booking.com photos are outdated and make the resort and beach look much better than they are now. We raised it with reception, and the friendly staff said they'd replace them. The pictures of an open terrace and a clean beach with just a few sunbeds have already been removed from Booking.com. We liked the location, garden, staff, and general feel, and with renovation and proper beach care this could be fantastic. As it is, it's a pleasant stay with a lot of potential, but the beach facilities and maintenance fall well short of what the photos suggest.

Such a calm, lovely place, with huge rooms and really friendly people. Manager Kelly is there if you need anything. Very affordable, and breakfast was good 🥰
