The upper floors have a really nice view, and at 50K/person I still think a visit is worthwhile. There are lots of interesting facts about Phu Quoc and its history, but the English signs seem to be from an early version of Google Translate, which makes all that information hard to follow. Dusty displays, poor upkeep, and a generally neglected feel get in the way. What a waste of an interesting place.

The gift shop was the letdown for me: no dust for sale, though it does have some nice cultured and baroque pearls. The exhibition itself, spread over five floors, is a fascinating celebration of dirt and dust, with samples set out on local artifacts, fossilised wood, stone age tools, and pottery. A few rarer pieces are protected in glass cases downstairs. If you're a fan of general filth, it's well worth a visit. 9/10 👍

The visuals and symbolism were a highlight for me. We took our time reading the displays and talking through the history with our son, and I'm glad we came and took pictures. We love Vietnam and respect its history. Some of the glass cabinets need attention because they aren't clear, and a few areas could use renewing.

The roof gives you a view over the city and the sea, and there's plenty about Vietnam's nature and history to explore inside. It feels like there may once have been a cafe up there, and I hope that option gets restored soon :). Fans of dusty museums should enjoy it. Our Phu Quoc trip wouldn't have felt complete without coming here.

Even with the neglect and signs of decay mentioned in other reviews, I’d recommend this museum. Its broad collection and the information on Phu Quoc's nature and history deserve more attention. I found the visit both interesting and entertaining, and the view is beautiful. To me, 50K is a fair price for it.
