Isabella Resort

The resort was very nice, and the pool being open around the clock was amazing. The location was average, with a good beach nearby but tourist spots a long way off. My only real problem was the bathroom shower, which worked very poorly and almost not at all.

Avoid Isabella Resort. I booked a Pool View Bungalow two months ahead, but when I arrived they tried to put me in a cheaper Garden View room. I refused the downgrade and was left in the lobby for over three hours, until 7:30 PM, while they claimed the manager wouldn't answer the phone. Staff ignored me while helping other guests, seemingly hoping I would give up and accept the cheaper room. It seemed clear they'd sold my room to someone else. They only suddenly agreed to cancel and refund after I threatened to call the Tourist Police. The manager refused to face guests, and the staff seemed trained to wear people down and manipulate them. This felt like a scam operation, not a resort. Stay away.

We stayed seven nights and had a wonderful time. The staff greeted us with big smiles every day and were attentive and very kind. They provided milk, water, and breakfast for free each day. Our room was spacious and had great air conditioning. It's close to beautiful Ong Lang beach, with several delicious restaurants nearby. The resort felt family oriented, with a play area and pool toys for children.

The garden was lovely and the swimming pool was huge. We stayed as a family in a double room apartment and found it good value. The area was wonderful, just a two minute walk from a beautiful beach. Breakfast was good as long as you weren't in a hurry. The manager speaks fluent English, and all the staff were very nice.
