Lahana Resort Phu Quoc & Spa

The grounds are spread over a big, hilly area, with little paths and roads between the buildings. The gardens are beautifully kept, with thoughtful plants, water features, and koi fish roaming around. Our room was simple, clean, and practical, with good AC, concrete floors, a pleasant garden view from the balcony, and quiet nights that suited light sleepers. The hotel sits down a back alley a few minutes’ walk from the main street. There’s a mini mart at the end of the alley and plenty of places to eat or have a drink on the main street, including grilled bbq crocodile if you’re feeling adventurous 😅. Staff were pleasant and helpful. They offer cart rides to the restaurant and pool at the top of the hill, though both are reachable on foot if you’re able bodied. I’d stay again. If you want a quieter stretch of beach for swimming, you may need to travel a bit, since many beachfront hotels claim the beach as their own along the main beachfront. Still, you can find lovely places under shaded palm trees to dip into Phu Quoc’s crystal clear waters 😁❤️

The pool area is spacious and sits at the top of the resort, with the nearby jungle in view. The restaurant is right there and has a varied menu. We had a large room with a roomy bathroom and even a bath. There was also an outdoor shower, screened by thick bushes so it felt completely private. The bed was wide, with one blanket for two, and the room had both AC and a ceiling fan. On the balcony there was a table, two comfortable chairs, and a clothes rack. Housekeeping left two bottles of complimentary still water each day, and there was fruit and a mini-fridge. A big convenience store is nearby, too. The resort is in the city center but far enough from nightlife to be really quiet. The nearest beach is about a 10 minute walk across one busy road.

The bungalows were spacious, stylish, and comfortable, and the outdoor garden shower was a highlight. Showering under the open sky, surrounded by greenery, felt unforgettable. Lahana Resort sits on a hillside, with tropical plants all around and lovely views. Walking along the paths through the greenery was a real pleasure, and the setting made it easy to slow down and relax. The staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The electric carts were a big help with luggage and getting around the sloped property. We also loved the fresh, flavorful food, from breakfast to the restaurant dishes, and the pool was clean, beautifully designed, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. A great choice if you want a place with character and high standards in a natural setting. I’d gladly come back! 💚

We stayed with family at Lahana Resort, Phu Quoc from 18th to 22nd December. Breakfast options were enjoyable, and the whole place was so relaxing that it was hard to leave at the end of our stay. The layout feels open and well planned, with rooms spread across the property and plenty of fresh air. We never felt crowded in the rooms, breakfast area, or while walking around. The resort is thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained. Definitely somewhere we’d visit again, and I’d recommend it to families and leisure travellers.
