Lan Anh Garden Resort

We were happy with our stay and would come back. The place was quiet inside despite being on a main road, and it was well maintained. The pool was a nice extra. An issue with our Agoda booking left us in the last room available for four nights, so we felt pretty lucky. For the price, the value is hard to beat.

The grounds are well kept, with lots of greenery and flowers, and the pool is a good size with enough loungers. There’s a small restaurant on site, and a beach shack with loungers nearby. It’s tucked along a quiet alley off the main road, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was decent, I slept well, and the bathroom was good. They provide a big shower towel plus towels for the pool or beach. There wasn’t a TV, but that didn’t matter much to me. Three-star place with five-star service, and 100% value for money.

We have three rooms here and they’re all lovely, spacious, airy, spotless, and look out over the pool. The people are so nice, and the rooms have hairdryers, kettles, and coffee sachets. Towels and two free bottles of water are provided daily, and the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s close to all the amenities, with a laundry room right beside it. A bag of washing costs £2. We paid £15 per room per night and will definitely return. This place should be four stars.

The main drawback was the noise next door: a newly opened beer garden played loud music from 6 PM until 11 PM. Even so, this is great value for money in Phu Quoc. The grounds are lovely, with greenery, garden areas, and nice outdoor spots to relax, and the location is convenient for the beach and lots of good restaurants. The staff were super friendly and the pool was great. Our room was spacious and mostly clean, though a bit dated. The bathroom was a little dirty, but nothing too bad.
