M Village Phu Quoc

We made some great family memories by the swimming pool. It was well kept and a lovely place to unwind and have fun together. M Village was comfortable and relaxing, just right for a family break. The staff were welcoming and always ready to help with a smile, which made the whole stay more pleasant. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it to other families.

We were much happier after switching from room 303 to 318. In 303, rain on the corrugated metal roof in the alley sounded like a drum at night, and there was also noise from the open air kitchen's dishwasher and the music. It's a quirky, good value place, with a windmill outside, two pools, a gym, and friendly staff. They helped sort out our moped. Make sure it has both wing mirrors unless you enjoy taking risks. Breakfast was OK.

We paid in full for five rooms through Agoda, but the property is still asking us to pay extra for the children. The policy says children aged 6-11 pay VND 250,000 per day, but can stay free using existing bedding as defined for the room. We have not asked for an extra bed and are using the existing ones, so charging VND 250,000 per child each day is not acceptable. Manager Tran has been uncooperative and unprofessional, and Agoda has not given proper support either. The airport shuttle arrangements are also poorly managed. For three days we tried to contact the property and got no answer. After we emailed, they said the shuttle leaves on time and cannot wait for late arrivals, that we should contact them to reserve the next one if our flight is delayed, and take a taxi if it is full. We had already tried repeatedly to reach them in advance and received no reply. Please remove the child surcharge and clarify and arrange reliable airport pickup support. Otherwise, we will formally escalate this against both the property and Agoda.

We had a lovely, very clean room, and the bed was big and super comfortable. The bathroom was just a partition rather than a separate room. We loved our three nights at M Village, close to lots of beach bars and restaurants. They also run airport drop-offs at set times during the day. Breakfast was great. We accidentally booked half board and tried it, but it really wasn't good, so I'd stick with breakfast. The gym and pools were good, and we could also use M resort's facilities. The hotel has happy hour, though it's only 10% off, while plenty of beautiful beach clubs offer 2for1. I used the gym once and found three young children playing there. It was inconvenient and potentially dangerous for little kids around the weights. Staff should have stepped in and pointed that out.
