Nhu House Phu Quoc

The pool is a nice size, clean, and cool, and the hotel grounds are green with lots of flowers. The owners were hospitable, and our room was pretty clean with all the necessities. It’s a modest apartment for a good price, and you shouldn’t expect daily housekeeping, though you can always ask the host. We rented a motorbike from the owners, which was convenient. It was fast and sturdy. Long Beach was about 5-7 minutes away by bike. The night market and Kong mini mart were also close, around 10 minutes walking or 3-5 minutes by bike, while the hotel’s street itself stayed quiet. There are two cute, smart, well-behaved dogs living there too.

A lovely, clean garden and a roomy room with air conditioning and a TV made this a comfortable spot. The location was great, with everything nearby, and it works well for a longer stay if you like cooking. The kitchen had what I needed, plus there’s an outdoor grill. My only small gripes were the pillow, which was too high and firm for me, and the missing corkscrew. Bring one if you plan to open wine 😅.

A week before check-in, they cancelled my confirmed booking through booking.com, saying the room was unavailable without giving any apparent reason. This hotel is unreliable. You could be left stranded at the last minute, so look for hosts you can trust.

The team’s kindness and quick help stood out most. I had a minor scooter accident during my stay, and they immediately helped and handled the situation with care. Their support and clear communication made a stressful moment much easier. New House was comfortable, well organized, and just as described. Thanks for a great stay and for all the help. I really appreciated my time there and would recommend it.
