The power cable connecting the island to the mainland was damaged on 29.12.2025, so this place had no electricity for at least two days. The owner kept checking how we were doing and handed out candles. We had powerbanks, and sometimes the electricity came back. It gets very hot indoors, though the shower was okay, with refreshing water that wasn’t cold. We’ll see if we get a discount. Clearly, the hotel isn’t to blame for the outage.

There’s plenty of room and fresh air at this small resort, which makes it a peaceful place to unwind. If you’d like a massage, laundry service, or reasonably priced drinks and beer, please support nearby Út Điệu Spa 🤍 The owner is warm and enthusiastic, and they provide sincere service to help make your trip more enjoyable.

Ong Lang is a quiet, peaceful area, and this is a good budget place about 10 minutes on foot from the main road and 15 from the main village. There’s lots of lush greenery, and the staff are friendly and quite direct. You get free drinking water, plus a good breakfast you can buy for 120,000 dong. A couple of friendly dogs like to sleep under the pool deckchairs. Some upkeep would help. Doors, wardrobes, and fans were squeaky and a bit worn, and the shower floor in my room was very slippery.

I stayed at Ninila for a month and loved it. The family team who look after the place are incredibly kind and friendly. It’s comfortable and inexpensive, and the pool is the best in the area. Highly recommend.

We rented bikes from the hotel quickly and easily, with no extra or hidden charges. You pay the stated price, grab a helmet, and you’re off in seconds. The staff are helpful, and there are smiles all around, no grumpy people. It was what we expected, with no problems or surprises. The accommodation is Vietnam standard, though Ninila is above standard if you know where you’ve traveled. A little more maintenance would be good, but the person working on it is making progress. Nice experience overall!
