Oyo 952 Linh Dan Bungalow

I made a reservation online, but when I arrived they said they didn’t take online bookings and had no rooms available.

A scam. They asked me to pay again for a reservation I’d already paid for online, and the price doubled when I got there. Don’t go!

I booked and paid through Traveloka, but at check-in they said they hadn’t received the notification. Traveloka resent the request; when I asked the staff to check again, they didn’t and just told me to go to the room. They also said they’d charge me for the room if the notification never came through. The fridge water cost 10k per bottle, and I noticed some bottles were half-drunk or looked opened. The room itself was nice, but the management felt unprofessional and dishonest. I rented a dirty, dusty, unstable motorbike. They didn’t tell me the rental price only covered use until noon. I got the bike at 9 pm, rode for almost three hours, and it kept dying. I texted them and got no reply. The next morning they only reacted to my message with a heart, without apologizing or offering compensation. When I returned the bike, they charged me 150k for a day. They said the rate was 200k a day and nobody rented by the hour, and challenged me to ask in a travel community group. They blamed weak gasoline and said if I refilled it, the bike would run well and they’d charge 300k. That seemed unreasonable: the bike was very old and dirty, I’d put in 50k of gas, and there was still fuel in the tank. I was very unhappy with Linh Dan Bungalow and wouldn’t recommend staying there. The next morning I found an AirBlack motorbike for 130k a day, and rode all day using only 50k of gas. Anyone planning to stay should be careful. I don’t want to badmouth Linh Dan Bungalow, but felt I had to share what happened. I hope they improve their service and show customers more respect. If you still stay there, agree clearly on the bike price and terms, and check the room and fridge when you arrive. I wish you a lovely holiday in Phu Quoc.

We were six people and had booked through traveloka: one Standard Bungalow (SB) with a double bed, and one Deluxe Garden Bungalow (DGB) with two double beds and two sofa beds. We got to Phu Quoc at 9 am and were glad to have a room right away, until we saw how small the Standard Bungalow was. The host then showed us a Standard Quadruple Bungalow with one double bed and two sofa beds, saying the DGB was unavailable because other guests had decided to stay two more nights. Since only four of us could fit there, apparently that was supposed to make sense. After arguing for a while, we took the SB and came back for the DGB after 2 pm. At 6 pm we opened the DGB and found one bed and one mattress. We didn’t say anything about that, but the bathroom light was broken. The host suggested leaving the door open or using a phone light. We were speechless again. We asked for a rechargeable light, and fortunately they bought one right away. Two hours later we found the DGB door wouldn’t lock. We let that go. The next day the SB air conditioner stopped working, so my friend had to switch to another SB. We had a great time in Phu Quoc, just not at Linh Dan Bungalow.
