The staff did try to help, and the laundry was cheap. But no one spoke English, so communicating was hard. The area around the hotel also felt dirty and unpleasant, with no good restaurants, beaches, or anything interesting nearby. It didn't feel tourist-friendly. My stay was extremely stressful. The walls are thin, so hallway and neighbor noise carries straight through. My room faced a busy street, and the balcony doors didn't seal properly, letting in traffic, honking, and shouting day and night. I couldn't rest or sleep. The room was also very hot, and the air conditioning worked poorly while blowing too strongly, which made me sick. Natural light was scarce, making the room feel depressing. WiFi was out for several hours during my stay. There were small ants all over the room. One bed was literally infested, and they bit me when I lay down. Hot water took several minutes to come through after turning on the tap. The desk setup wasn't good for working either: the chair didn't fit well, and there wasn't enough room for my legs under the desk, so I had to sit far back or keep my legs apart to work or do my makeup. The booking was a mess from the start. They had double-booked and had no room for me, so I had to wait while they tried to sort something out. About an hour after I finally got a room, I was told to move to another one. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I absolutely don't recommend it.
