Carisbay Hostel

Clean hotel and good service.

There's no elevator, so climbing the stairs gets tiring. Still, I liked the spacious, comfortable bed, the pretty room, and its sea-view balcony. It's right in the center, and there's a cafe downstairs where you can order tasty, inexpensive drinks whenever you like. The staff were lovely and quite professional, even sending reminder and thank-you emails. A cute detail: instead of room numbers, each room is named after a Quy Nhon specialty dish.

The owner was helpful when we arrived early and let us use a dorm room temporarily. The central location makes getting around convenient, and our room had a nice sea view. My concern was the bill: it didn't match the room price, and the receptionist wasn't professional. Everyone should get a quote by text message.

I liked this hostel. The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. There's no elevator, which can be a real concern if, like me, you're staying on the dorm floor. Updated 06.2019
