Kim House

It felt like a home away from home. There was always music playing during the day, and the food was really tasty. Kim from Kim house was friendly, spoke English well, and was always ready to help with whatever I needed. They also employ people with disabilities, including deafness and minor deformities, and I always support that. If you're visiting Qui Nh'on, stay here. I enjoyed it and would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

The rooms are cool, with strong AC, and the beds are comfortable. I found the dorm and showers really clean, too. It’s a central spot, about a seven-minute walk to the beach, with good food and both Vietnamese and Western-style coffee. The staff were so kind and accommodating. I’d happily stay here again while visiting Quy Nhon.

We ended up staying two nights instead of one because every bus to Da Lat was sold out for the next three days. K & Kim and the staff called around to companies in Quy Nhon to help us, and we went to HCM afterwards. We tried the private Double for one night and the six-bed dorm for another, and both were great. The food is worth trying, especially the curry and fried mushrooms, and there are plenty of veggie choices. The banana and maple syrup pancakes at breakfast were among my top three in four weeks in Vietnam. The café and bar have a relaxed feel, with young locals dropping by to play guitar and piano. No loud karaoke, just nice music. Everyone was super friendly and helped us figure out what to see and do. Book ahead if you’re coming to Quy Nhon. We’d definitely return!

A slow morning here worked out perfectly: I had a lovely cake from the new cafe lobby, then got noodle soup next door and Vietnamese coffee. Such a good breakfast combo.
