La Costa Resort Quy Nhon

The ocean-facing one-bedroom room was roomy, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were kind and helpful. But a public walkway runs right past the front, so there’s very little privacy. The hotel sits on a cliff with lovely views of both the city and sea, and the large pool makes the most of the setting, though it isn’t an infinity pool. With better design choices, this could easily earn five stars.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and the quiet setting away from the city was just right for resting and recharging. The views are stunning, with corners that look like photo backdrops, even for someone like me who rarely takes pictures. Bai Xep Beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and bikes are available. They’re also planning to start a shuttle to the beach soon. Grab and Green rides make getting into the city convenient. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and would happily return.

I stayed in the Seaview Villa, and the view was stunning. The resort and rooms were lovely, with nothing to complain about there. Breakfast was decent, though I would have liked a few more choices, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only small drawback is the setting, about a 20-minute ride from Quy Nhon city centre, with little to do nearby. The trip into town is very scenic on a motorbike, though.

What a peaceful spot after a day out around Quy Nhon. The resort is new and in excellent condition, with a huge pool, a comfortable hammock for sunbathing, and tasty à la carte breakfast. We also had dinner once and really enjoyed it. You can order a soft drink, beer, or cocktail to enjoy by the pool with the views. The team were lovely. Chin helped us arrange a driver, which worked out great, and Hieu was especially friendly, always smiling and full of energy. We’d definitely come back to Vietnam and stay here again.
