The beachfront setting was the highlight, with the sand and sea just a short walk away. Restaurants, seafood street and cafes were close by too. My room was bright and clean, with an elegant design and big windows looking out over the ocean. The staff were friendly, attentive and keen to make the stay memorable. Highly recommended for a sea-view getaway at Ly Ky Hotel.

I stayed in a sea-view room and could fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The price was very affordable, and the staff were helpful. The location is perfect, though construction is happening on the beach across the road. A breakfast service and some hotel information on arrival would make the stay better.

I had room 602 on the top floor, and the views of the beach and main avenue were great. You’ll need to pay about $2 extra for a deluxe room to get a view. The building is very narrow, so only a couple of rooms face the beach. Room 601 should have an excellent view too and seems to have a balcony, while 501 and 502 look similar. The roof sign says Ly Ky Hotel, even though it may be labeled “Thrilling Hotel” elsewhere, possibly because of a translation. It’s a nice budget hotel.

The hotel was clean and well kept, and Mr Ky was brilliant from the moment I arrived. When one of our bikes broke down about 15 km away, Mr Ky found someone to take it to a mechanic, then insisted we join him for dinner. Flawless. Stay here if you’re in the area.

It’s a new hotel, and my room had no window and was dirty. The staff changed it for me right away, though. Rooms with windows are clean. It’s near the food street and across the road from the beach, and they have motorbikes for rent. I’ll come back :)
