Rong Homestay

This lovely homestay is run by a kind, helpful family who are always smiling. The dorm is clean and spacious, with curtains on the beds and lockers for your things. There’s no window, but that didn’t bother me. The bathroom is clean and roomy, and you can use the fridge. Water is always free. It’s a 20-minute walk to the sea. Recommended.

The kitchen was the best part for me: we could use it, and it had drinking water, hot water, a fridge, even ice cubes. That was a nice surprise after places in Dalat and Nha Trang where hot water can cost 10k for a small cup. The shower was hot and the A/C was cold. The older couple were lovely, as other guests had said. They didn't speak much English, but they always had a smile. The location worked well too, within walking distance of Co.op Mart, where the T4 shuttle dropped me off. Travel tip: T4 runs between Dieu Tri Railway Station and Quy Nhon city, and the ticket costs 12k.

I loved hearing Ms Suong and her son Mr Dinh play music each night we were there. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and she has beautiful bonsai gardens she's looked after herself. We had a double room with a shared bathroom, which was the one drawback. The location is handy for everything we needed. I'd happily see her family again, and recommend staying here.

Co Suong was so welcoming and full of helpful tips, and her smile and positive energy made us feel at home. The house is a lovely wooden place with an artsy feel, and our little private room was cute; the bathroom was spacious. There are small bonsai gardens too, and her dog was adorable. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach, with local street food spots nearby. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.
