It was quiet here, though a little away from the main part of town. If I return to Rach Gia, I'd probably look for somewhere closer in. We stayed one night between Phu Quoc and Can Tho, paying about US$20 for a big room with a balcony. Check before booking, though, because some rooms have no windows. The lobby staff didn't speak English, but they still did what they could, including arranging a free pickup to connect us to the bus station. The water never got hot enough for me, even after leaving the tap running a long time.

The hotel is an easy walk from the port, about 1 km away. One staff member tried to point me toward vegetarian places, which was decent of him, though nothing special. The bathroom hadn't been fully cleaned, and I found used earbuds in a container by the sink. The towels were dirty, too. There were no breakfast options nearby, breakfast wasn't included, and I couldn't find vegan or vegetarian places within a mile. Most frustrating, they don't accept cards. Payment was due at the property, so this came as a shock. Travelers often don't want to exchange too much currency because the process isn't efficient. I can't see a good justification for not having a card machine. Stay at your own risk.

The room was nice, and the hotel is new, but the towels were old. It's near the boat station for Phu Quick and the other islands. No beer available.

A twin room was 550k a night and very clean. It's in the new town in Rach Gia, a little distance from the city center.

The city center location is really good, and the view was nice. The room was clean and looked beautiful.
