Nho Hotel Rach Gia - Hostel

They took and confirmed my booking, but when I arrived they said they were sold out. They appeared to give rooms to whoever showed up first, even though the “Còn phòng” sign was still displayed. The owner said the rooms still available were rented by the hour, which made me wonder what they were used for and raised concerns about the hotel's safety. The management's business ethics are questionable. Travelers should avoid this place, and booking sites should remove it and prevent it from rejoining.

The staff were friendly and responsive, and the place is about 300m from the port. I chose the bigger room for 450,000 vnd because the standard one, at 250,000, was small and felt cramped, partly because of the bedding colors. The larger room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the sea and the wide street. Still, it was a bit dusty, the kettle wasn't clean, and the bathroom plant attracted mosquitoes. It seemed like nobody had stayed there for a while. The shower faces the sink and toilet, so I had to adjust the head to get a comfortable place to stand.

The staff are really friendly and easy to talk to. I love this place and have recommended it to my friends. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance to travel to Rach Gia City.

It's in a very convenient location and the price is good, but the place is very basic, with no hair dryer or minibar. It takes about five minutes for the hot water to come on. Some staff are friendly, though not all of them.
