The location in the city center is a big plus, and my stay at "Bong Hong" was good overall. My room was spacious and generally clean, with no bugs at night. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and I was surprised they replaced the towels every day. Branded toiletries were provided, and breakfast was included even though I hadn't expected it. It was fine for what you'd expect. Prices seemed fair and fixed year-round, even for holidays or last-minute bookings. It's an old hotel, though, and the rooms look dated. There were stains, especially in the bathroom, and the wooden cupboard looked like it belonged to another century. I wasn't keen on the shower over the bathtub, and the shower curtain definitely needed washing. Still, I think it deserves better than its 3.8 rating. Keep expectations realistic, but I had a better stay here than at homestays in the city and would probably return.

I stayed one night. The room was roomy and okay, though it could use a fresh update, maybe even some nicer scents. The reception was very welcoming, and breakfast was good, but there should be more vegetarian choices. Seems like a good hotel for events.

The room looked spacious, but it was unsanitary and had a strong, unpleasant smell. There wasn't proper ventilation to carry the odor outside, which really affected the experience and my health. I won't return and can't recommend the place.

Everything else was good for a short stay, and the room was okay. My only two complaints are the color of the fridge in my room and how hot it gets because the elevator is outside.
