Central Sapa Serenity Homestay

The rooftop view was a highlight. I spent ages looking out over the city. I stayed three nights in a shared room as a solo traveller, and the stay was really nice. The bed was roomy, and they supplied towels, body wash, and shampoo, though you'll need to bring the rest of your toiletries. It's very affordable and there's a locker for your belongings. The hill was a struggle with my huge luggage, but Win helped carry my bags.

The hosts were so kind, friendly, and helpful, and the rooftop view is beautiful and relaxing even though the lounge up there wasn't being used during my stay. My dorm and bathroom were tidy, well kept, and cleaned every day. The hostel sits in a big tourist area, where restaurant and street food prices in Sa Pa are very high compared with elsewhere. For cheaper food, there's a supermarket just a few minutes' walk away. I had a lovely stay and can highly recommend it.

Win was incredibly helpful. We arrived around 7 in the morning, and luckily our room was ready, so we could check in straight away. It was spacious and had all the facilities we needed, especially for such a low price. The hotel is handy for the lake, night market, food options, and Sapa Square. It's tucked into a small alley on an uphill road, which makes the walk a bit tiring, but I thought it was well worth it. I'd definitely stay again if I return to Sapa!

I got an upgrade, which was a lovely surprise after a long night on the bus. I'd messaged the owner on WhatsApp to say I was arriving at night, and he sent all the check-in information and instructions. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The hostel is close to the city centre but still very quiet.
