Dung welcomed me with lovely homemade tea when I arrived late in the cold, and she was kind and helpful throughout. She speaks English, so it was easy to communicate. I spent two days at Peace Home and had a perfect stay. Try her traditional pumpkin soup at dinner and the different teas at breakfast. I also tried the herbal bath and recommend it. They prepare it with care, and the room is relaxing and well organized. Thank you, Dung!

The balconies have several spots to sit and take in the majestic mountain views. The owner is very helpful and speaks English. Rooms are cozy and clean, with private rooms as well as a dorm, and the shared bathroom is clean with hot water. There’s no heating or electric blanket, though one might be available if you ask. The restaurant’s food is good, but a little pricey, for example 60k for rice with egg and vegetables.

I rented a motorbike to explore the beautiful surroundings, since it was more flexible and convenient than a taxi. Peace Home is away from busy Sa Pa town, with stunning views and comfortable rooms. I stayed two nights and wished I could stay much longer. The junior suite felt like a real treat for a solo backpacker 🤗 The owner made me feel at home and helped with anything I needed, from delicious food and laundry to strong wifi and answers to all my questions. We stumbled across the hotel on Google Maps while heading to Sapa, liked the photos and price, and planned to stay a couple of days while we worked out what was nearby. We ended up enjoying it enough to stay five days. Our room had a balcony, private bathroom, and mountain views. The hostess was pleasant and responsive, and the view from the hotel was beautiful. There’s a little garden behind the house with a pond, gazebo, barbecue area, and a moon-shaped lantern. Sound carries very well through the walls, though.
