The family were really friendly, five stars for them. It was cold outside and inside, though the extra blanket they gave us was nice. The place is cheap and you get a bed with a bug net, so you get what you pay for. There isn't an ensuite, just a shared bathroom, and there's barely any reception. Loud calls of “hello” in the middle of the night woke us up. The photos look lovely, but don't expect luxury or a great night's sleep. Maybe bring a mousetrap?
The owners were really kind and friendly, and I enjoyed my stay overall. It’s a very cheap hostel with dorms up on a hill. Nights in the room can get really cold in winter, though, and hot water isn’t always available.
The family here are lovely, and the views and food were great. I left my jacket behind, but they sent it to Hanoi by bus for me. You can rent bikes here too, and the staff are very helpful. Best place I’ve stayed in Sapa.
It feels more like staying with a family than being in a hostel. The owner is a great guy, and his family are wonderful. His kids are super cute and so friendly.
We had a great view and a very convenient location. The owners are friendly, and the beds were clean, really comfortable, and made up with warm bedding. Highly recommend.
