The woman at the front desk was so nice, and the room was comfortable. We didn't actually stay overnight because we had a bus booked, but after a long train ride we needed somewhere to shower and rest, and somewhere secure for our bags while we explored. A trekking cafe had quoted us 700000 vnd to store the bags for the day, so we walked in and booked a room at melody for 500k vnd instead. It worked out really well. I'd recommend it, especially for anyone doing a day trip or one-night trip to sapa with lots of luggage. It's a cost-effective way to see the town without worrying about your bags. I'd happily come back if I'm in the area again.

The rooms were clean and the location was great, near Sun Plaza and all the shops. The staff were friendly and approachable. They speak very little English, but they do their best to communicate. Highly recommend this place!

The bed was really comfy and the location was great. Thanh, the lovely lady who runs the place, even sang karaoke with us in the lobby. I'd happily stay again!

The staff were a highlight: always smiling, keen to help, and quick to clean or sort out what we needed. Ha was especially funny and attentive, and once even walked us to the nearest massage place so we could get there safely. The manager and the rest of the team were lovely too. The hotel is small and cozy, but our family room was big, with a king bed and two full-size beds that felt like a queen. It had two showers, one with a toilet, two TVs, two ACs, a fridge with sodas, and two free bottles of water each day. The place was pretty clean and well-maintained, and the elevator was surprisingly big for the hotel and pretty fast. The location is perfect, about 100 feet from the town center, around 50 feet to the right of Sun World, and a quarter mile to the left of the lake. From the window we could see the Church's door and the mountain view. This is the most underrated hotel in Sapa, and I'd definitely come back. Highly recommended.
