There are electric mattress pads, and if you still get cold you can ask for another blanket. The shower was strong and hot. Our room was really big and clean, though the bed was a bit hard, like most beds in Vietnam.

It’s a small family-run hotel, and the rooms are quiet and very clean. Some look out over the city park, Ham Hong Flower garden, and the mountain.

The bed felt hard as concrete. The sheets hadn’t been cleaned, with a woman’s perfume smell and lots of hair on them. There was plenty of hair under the bed too. I’d booked three nights but left after one.
