Lai Dinh Hotel

I’ve never had to leave a hotel review like this before. The room was filthy, with ants across the floor and even in the bathroom. When we pointed it out, the cleaning staff just wiped the floor, and the water looked as if it had been urinated on. The food was expensive and bad, and they couldn’t guarantee its quality. They still insisted on adding these rooms, making the place feel like an autonomous zone in Cambodia. There’s no elevator on the 7th floor, and you have to climb another floor to reach the 6th. Reception assigned us a room, but guests from another group had switched rooms upstairs without the hotel telling us. When we complained, a cleaner just said to stay there because all the rooms were the same.

A terrible stay. The food was poor, staff had a bad attitude, and there was no bottled water or electric kettle in the room. Even after we asked, the room wasn't cleaned and the towels weren't changed each day.

We rented three two-bed rooms on a weekday, at 400k per room. They were spacious and clean, with strong air conditioning, a large bathroom, and good water. Meals were 250k, with fresh, tasty food that seemed cheap for Sam Son's usual seasonal rates. In general, everything suited us.

The rooms were bad, and the food was expensive. They quote one price, then charge extra when you leave, and you get charged extra if you don't eat at the hotel.
