Phuong Thuy Hotel

For a budget stay, it’s a pretty decent place to sleep. We had to ask several times for enough towels and bedsheets for everyone, and there wasn’t an air conditioning remote. The staff don’t speak much English, but that was fine since the area isn’t very touristy. Given the price, I can’t complain too much.

I’ve stayed here five times. The owners, a husband and wife, are OK, and the rates are affordable. The rooms are basic and aren’t especially spacious or attractive. The location is lovely, and the sea view is what gives this hotel its value.

I was unsure about paying the deposit at first, since the hotel called to request one after I booked through booking.com. They said weekends are busy. But after I added Hoang on Zalo, I felt more comfortable and paid half upfront. The sea and mountain views were amazing, and the balcony made the room feel airy. The owners were friendly and enthusiastic. I stayed three days and two nights and ate two meals at the hotel. The food was delicious and cheaper than the restaurants I tried in Sam Son. When I was leaving, I asked the owner to buy fermented pork sausage for me, and everyone praised it. I’d seen good reviews about the beautiful view before booking, and I’m glad I gave the place a try. Thanks so much, and I hope to visit again.
