The location was okay, but the hotel food was pretty average. The groceries in Tam Dao seemed to be brought in from elsewhere, so they weren't fresh. The receptionist, who was the owner's daughter, didn't seem professional. Perhaps the Covid-19 pandemic had something to do with it, since most of the staff had been laid off.

Sofia is quiet and centrally located, which made getting around convenient. The family room felt a little cramped, though, and breakfast could run out if you didn't get up early. For the price, the room equipment felt dated. Both the facilities and service need an upgrade to keep things running well.

Tam Dao was beautiful and the trip was nearly perfect until the staff member's behavior spoiled it. I can't remember his name, but he spoke badly about us behind our backs. Breakfast was short on food and didn't feel worth what we paid. I told the manager, but they said it was our fault. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Dinner had no staff to serve us, and we were told to help ourselves because of the lack of staff during Covid. They still charged a service fee. The service overall was poor, breakfast was very bad, and the price felt high for what we got.

The room wasn't clean, the TV didn't work, and the room charge seemed unreasonable. There weren't enough staff to help, breakfast was terrible, and nobody was available to serve dinner.
