The landlady and her adult child were very friendly and helpful, and the food was okay. The place has potential, but it’s old and not maintained to the standard that adult tourists looking for high quality would expect. We had booked two nights inside the reserve, but gave up on staying there and moved to the village across the river, where most tourists currently stay. You can still do jungle activities from there, and crossing the river takes two minutes. There are several basic places to stay in the village, but they’re tidy and well maintained, with a much more suitable atmosphere for tourists. Thank you, sorry, and good luck.

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to crocodile lake. For 150,000 per person, we got a big breakfast, as shown in the picture, plus bananas and coffee or tea. Lovely sunny morning view. The place looks like it used to be fancy, or could be again, but needs a bit of love.

The only thing going for this place is its location. It’s overpriced, and I’d get a lodge across the river instead, which is way better. The two staff members were nice, and I wish I could give it a higher rating, but the problems were too much. It badly needs a deep clean. I don’t mind that it’s old, but the dirt, webs, old stains, mold and gecko poop were just gross.

Right along the path into the forest, this lodge is both stunning and convenient. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, and know the surrounding nature extremely well. They arranged tours for us through the park office and made sure our stay was lovely and educational.

If wildlife is your thing, stay here. It was the best part of our whole Vietnam trip. We had a clean room with a fan, aircon and hot shower, and the food, coffee and juices were delicious. The owners and staff were very welcoming. Walking around the park without a guide or tour, we saw Gibbons, Langurs, Macaques, pitvipers, whipsnakes, fireflies, lots of different bird species, and more. There are bird hides around the place.
