The owner was very helpful when I was planning my next travels in northern Vietnam. It's a friendly, family-run place, and my room matched the description and had good facilities. I also had a lovely meal with the family for an extra 100,000, which was good value. I recommend staying here.

The hostel is relaxed and welcoming, and Nam and his wife My are both very helpful and nice. They speak good English, so you can ask them anything. I'd happily stay again.

The host and his family were really nice and helpful, and staying here felt like an authentic taste of local life. If you're coming straight from the airport, I'd strongly suggest arranging a pickup. It costs 1.000.000. I had a terrible time trying to find a cab myself and ended up paying 1.300.000.
