Hanoi La Selva Hotel

The hotel is right in a prime part of the Old Quarter, so major sights, cafés, shopping streets, and local markets are easy to reach on foot. Our room stayed quiet despite the busy neighborhood, and we slept well. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had the basic amenities we needed. The staff stood out for being polite, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. They helped with recommendations, transport, and tours, making everything feel stress-free. Breakfast was good with a decent range, though vegetarian choices were limited. The hotel offered very good value and a warm welcome. I'd gladly stay at Hanoi La Selva Hotel again, whether visiting for leisure or business.

We were impressed by how quickly the hotel handled our laundry. We left it at reception first thing in the morning and it was back that evening. The breakfast restaurant served good meals, and both the dining and reception staff were friendly and welcoming, with the reception team offering helpful assistance. During our July/August 2025 stay, the hotel was comfortable and clean. The bed was relaxing, the air conditioning cooled the room really well, and the bathroom met our needs. Hanoi La Selva is very central in the Old Quarter, a short walk from the colourful, beautiful Hoan Kiem lake and the shopping market place. A very good stay, thank you, Hotel La Selva.

We could walk everywhere from this older property, and the staff did their best. The cleaning around the nightstand could have been better, as we found old dust and hair. We'd ordered a late checkout, but someone entered our room on the checkout date before we were finished. It was uncomfortable and inappropriate. They were there to repot plants on the patio, which could have waited until we left.

The hotel and its people were wonderful, and we loved our stay. It's a great spot for exploring the Old Quarter. We'd come back anytime.
