I don't usually leave low ratings, but after thinking it over, I felt the hotel needed this feedback to improve. The location was easy to find, but I was charged for water I never used. It wasn't much, and I paid willingly, but I hadn't touched it. I stayed just one night and had bought plenty of drinks, so I didn't drink the water. Take photos of the room items when you arrive to avoid having to pay for something unnecessarily. If it hadn't been the first day of the month, I might have been fine with it, but being asked to reimburse them on that day was unacceptable. The room was damp and full of mosquitoes. I had to leave early the next morning for an errand, but they buzzed all night and kept me from sleeping. I hope the hotel fixes this. The linens were moldy and dirty, with old hair still on them. They changed the sheets and blankets, but didn't replace items left by previous guests. Toilet paper and some other supplies were missing. I also can't understand why the staff didn't even say goodbye when guests left. If you're in this area for an exam or work, I'd recommend Habana Hotel or other Viet Bac accommodations. I found them very good, easy to get around from, and decent in service.
