Peaceful Resort

Edensee Ke Ga Beach Resort in Tan Thanh gets high marks for being clean, for its attentive service, and for its family-friendly amenities. It’s a top-rated destination.

The breakfast was delicious, and the hours, 6:00 to 10:00 am, were convenient for our family. We’re especially grateful to Mr Phai Receptionist, who handled our check-in and check-out quickly and professionally, then gave us all the instructions we needed for a great holiday. The rooms were beautiful, private, and furnished to a five-star standard. We were warmly welcomed at Edensee Ke Ga Resort, where the convenient location, international luxury style, full facilities, and excellent service made for a wonderful family stay. Nguyen Dung Nam

The resort manager’s service recovery changed my rating to three stars. At first, though, I was ready to give the place five. We enjoyed the afternoon high tea, served from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, and the welcome made a great impression. That feeling faded when the huge bathtub took ages to fill because the water was only trickling out. I told reception, and the technical staff came by, but all they could say was that the flow was normal. The electric safe was already locked when we checked in, so I couldn’t put my valuables away. Then on our last morning, the restaurant had nothing ready for its usual buffet breakfast. They switched to an à la carte menu. The change wasn’t communicated ahead of time, and our expectations weren’t met at all. I was truly disappointed, and my rating plunged from five stars to one. Saving resources when occupancy is low may make sense, but guests should be told before the breakfast format changes. It seems surprising that management would rather save a little money than earn more five-star reviews. This will most likely be my first and only stay at Edensee. I’ll look at nearby competitors that don’t treat customers this way.
