Rosa Alba Resort & Villas Tuy Hoa

The resort isn’t directly on the beach, but an underground tunnel makes the walk there easy. I’d definitely visit again. For this price range, it’s one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. I loved the spacious, well-equipped suite and the large pools, which work for both kids and adults. The staff were hospitable and well trained, including with luggage and taking photos. Breakfast was good too, though the options don’t change much from day to day.

⚠️🚨 WARNING for FEMALE guests. (*Korean women, there’s an older local man secretly taking photos around the pool! Be careful! The hotel’s response was awful...) Today, while I was swimming in a bikini, an older local man secretly took several photos of me at the pool. When I confronted him, he denied it at first. My husband insisted on looking at his phone, and we found multiple pictures of me in his gallery. He even tried to stop us from touching the phone while we deleted them. We had to insist forcefully to make sure the pictures were gone, including from the trash folder. The staff response was disappointing too. I asked a nearby staff member for help, but nobody came to assist us right away. Another staff member checked on things only later. It was extremely uncomfortable, and I felt unsafe at the resort. Female guests using the pool, please be careful.

The private grounds made the resort feel safe and luxurious. It’s right by the beach, and the drive into the city isn’t long. There’s also a little car service to take you to and from the villas, so you don’t have to walk if you don’t want to. Breakfast was included and delicious, with different noodles and juices each day alongside the regular buffet. Nothing to complain about. Our room was very clean and tidy. The towels were neatly wrapped when we checked in, and the beds had clearly been cleaned and made. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, I’d give them 6 out of 5. We had to extend our stay because of an emergency, and they gave my wife a free villa upgrade while she waited for me to arrive. It meant the world to us at a difficult time. I’ll definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

We were tired when we booked and weren’t expecting much. The customer service changed that, and it’s why I wanted to leave a review. On our first stay they went above and beyond, especially Ms. Ngan, the manager, who upgraded us, and Mr. Long, who gave us a friendly farewell on the morning of 10/01. The room was good for the price, and the amenities were great. Thanks for a lovely stay!
